Walking & Writing

Our Walking & Writing sessions have started, and there are more events coming up in the weeks ahead. All events are free, but please book a place via the Eventbrite links below. where you’ll find more details about the walks and the writers.

Walking & Writing is a series of sessions in parks and green spaces across Glasgow, to allow people who have been isolated during the recent pandemic to exercise, meet others, and write therapeutically.

Wednesdays 11 August, 15 September, 13 October

Kelvingrove Park, facilitated by Brian Whittingham
Thursdays 15 & 29 July, 12 August

Glasgow Green, facilitated by Lesley O’Brien
Fridays 20 & 27 August, 3 September; Sunday 22 August

Please note that to comply with Scottish Government Level 2 restrictions currently in place for Glasgow we have limited the number of tickets available for each session, including those scheduled for August and beyond. This may result in sessions showing as Sold Out. If and when restrictions ease, we will make more tickets available, so do check Eventbrite again, or e-mail Ken at lapidus.scotland.1@gmail.com
